I aim to specifically support the more senior IT users within our community.
I am based in Dinedor, Hereford and cover the whole of Herefordshire (and just over the borders). I have 25 years’ experience of working within I.T. including the hands on supporting of all age groups and abilities.
From technophobes to technogeeks, I’ve helped them all.
Holistic I.T. Support
Through my experience I have found that within this demographic, people requiring support often appreciate a completely different approach.
I won’t burden anyone with jargon and will offer only gentle and compassionate support/advice. Considering the userβs whole situation can help make them feel more comfortable with tackling technology and lead to a growing confidence.
Sometimes, the iPad issue or printing problem might be the initial reason for contact and all that’s really required
is someone to sit patiently with them and share a cuppa. I can do that too; I’m a great listener!
I’d like to reach out too, to the children of elderly parents. I fall into this category and know how sometimes it can be
problematic trying to support a loved one over the phone. “I can’t connect to skype”, “I can’t see the photo you just sent me”,
“I’ve had an email telling me to send money to someone”… I’m sure we’ve all tried to aid with these kinds of requests for help.
But this is where I can help…
